Minister of National Defense of Lithuania from 2008 to 2012.
President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in 2018.
Vice-President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly from 2016 to 2018.
A member of European Parliament since 2019.
Since 2014 – a member of an Advisory Council of the Center for European Policy Analysis.
In 2008 was elected as the Vice-President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Graduate of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and worked as a doctor until 1992.
Jukneviciene had been member of the Lithuanian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly since 1999. She served as Rapporteur of the Political Committee from 2007 to 2008, from 2014 to 2015, and as General Rapporteur from 2016 to 2018.
